Your 4 nights 5 days North East tour begins with arrival at Guwahati. As soon as you land in Guwahati, you will be assisted by our representative to transfer to Kaziranga, a stunning city situated on the banks of the river Brahmaputra. The city is synonymous with the famous Kaziranga National Park which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the oldest national park in Assam.

On reaching Kaziranga, straight away head to your hotel, complete all the check-in procedures and take a good rest. In the evening, enjoy an adventurous Jeep Safari in Kaziranga National Park. Spot the wildlife really close to your eyes and get stunned by the beauty around. Typically, a 2 hours jeep safari offers a unique way to explore the park’s diverse terrain and wildlife, including the one-horned rhinoceros, tigers, swamp deers, bears, pythons, elephants, wild water buffalo, and various other species

After exploring the park, return to the hotel in Kaziranga for a peaceful night stay.

Have a scrumptious breakfast at the hotel and get ready for an adventurous day ahead. After breakfast, check out from the hotel, and head to explore Kaziranga National Park in the morning and then drive to Shillong in Meghalaya.

Get ready for an exciting Elephant Safari at Kaziranga National Park. This fun ride will take you inside the natural surroundings of the park. You will get to explore the Golaghat and Nagaon districts of Assam on an elephant’s back.

Do not miss visiting the Kaziranga National Orchid and Biodiversity Park which spans an area of around 6 acres and is considered the largest orchid park in Northeast India. Here you will get to see more than 500 varieties of wild orchids, 132 species of sour fruits and leafy vegetables, 46 species of bamboo, 12 species of cane and many other plants along with several local fish species.

After exploring the national park, make your way to Shillong. On reaching, check-in at the hotel. The day is at leisure so you can just explore the nearby places.

Wake up fresh and have breakfast at the hotel. Prepare for an exciting day excursion to Cherrapunjee, also known as Sohra. We all remember Cherrapunjee from our Geography class lessons where we learnt Cherrapunjee receives the highest rainfall and is the wettest place on earth. Time’s time to witness the charm of Cherrapunjee in reality!

Cherrapunjee is known for its stunning awe-inspiring waterfalls. So, begin your waterfall hopping adventure by first visiting Nohkalikai Falls. It is the tallest plunge waterfall in India at 340 metres (1115 feet) height. It is also the 4th highest waterfall in the world. Be ready for a jaw-dropping experience as the waterfall is extremely captivating with its breathtaking views.

Another pristine waterfall that will take your breath away is the Seven Sisters Falls (also known as Nohsngithiang Falls). This stunning seven-segmented waterfall is gracefully located in the south of Mawsmai village. The fall mesmerises tourists with its breathtaking scenic beauty and unique seven-stream feature.

Your next stop would be Mawsmai Cave, one of the very famous attractions in Cherrapunjee, that you must not miss. And, we are not lying, this is one of the best caves in Meghalaya. The cave is popular for its unique limestone formations and fossils.

Your caving adventure is incomplete without visiting another stunning natural cave – Arwah Cave. Standing as home to a diverse variety of flora and fauna, this place is a must-visit for every nature lover. Arwah caves are located on the side of a mountain which overlooks steep waterfalls and lovely views, making for some incredible views.

After a day full of waterfall hopping and cave exploration, head back to Shillong in the evening. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Begin the 4th day of your 5 days Northeast adventure tour with a healthy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and get ready to explore the beautiful capital city – Shillong. Later, you will transfer to Guwahati.

Begin your sightseeing by exploring Shillong Peak, an iconic attraction in Shillong. Witness breathtaking views of the city and the surrounding hills from atop the highest point in Shillong perched at 6,449 feet. On a clear day, you can even spot the Himalayas in the distance and the plains of Bangladesh shimmering below.

Next, head to Umiam Lake, a gorgeous man-made lake well known for its pleasant ambience. Soak in the natural beauty of the lake and Sylvan Hills encircling the lake. This picturesque lake is sure to leave you spellbound.

Next, venture ahead to experience the charm of Elephant Falls. It is also referred to as ‘The Three Step Waterfall’ as you will see three different parts of the fall here.

After exploring the sightseeing places in Shillong, proceed to Guwahati. Reach your hotel and complete the check-in procedures.
