Best Time To Visit Ravangla

Ravangla is a scenic destination located at an altitude of 7,000 feet in South Sikkim. It is a perfect place for rejuvenation and to enjoy the breath-taking views of snow-capped Himalayas, Mt. Kanchenjunga, Mt. Sinjolchu, Mt. Pandim. It also offers amazing trekking trails and village tours in its surroundings. It is located between two mesmerizing destinations- Gangtok and Pelling which have their own unique attractions. It is also a base point for trekking to Maenam Wildlife Sanctuary.

Ravangla In Winter (October To March)

Winter season witness extreme cold in Ravangala and the temperature drops down to sub-zero level. It is cold during the day and quite chilly at night. Although it is cold in winter, it is fun to explore Ravangla during this time. You are advised to carry heavy woollens.

Ravangla In Summer (April To June)

Summer season experiences moderate climate in Ravangla and the temperature ranges between 15 °C to 25 °C. At times Ravangla experiences rain in summer.

Ravangla In Monsoon (June To September)

In the monsoon months Ravangla witnesses an average rainfall of around 300 cm. Sometimes heavy rains are accompanied by strong winds. The temperature ranges between 12°C to 17°C.
