Layer one: Book the right Kaziranga range
- Book two ranges across two morning safaris, not one vague "jeep safari".
- Bagori: closest, most reliable rhino sightings. Start here.
- Kohora: most varieties — rhino, elephant, deer, buffalo.
- Agaratoli: quiet, fewer jeeps, best for birders.

Season: open mid-October to April, closed May to mid-October for flooding. Elephant safaris run from 1 November to 30 April.
Layer two: Time the tea estate stay to the flush
- First flush (late February to April): the prized harvest, when the gardens come alive with pickers.
- Stay overnight in a heritage bungalow, not a half-day tick-box visit.

Layer three: Treat Majuli as an overnight, not a detour
- The world's largest inhabited river island, and the cultural heart of Assam.

- It is shrinking to Brahmaputra erosion, so it rewards more than a rushed day.
- Getting there: ferry from Nimati Ghat (Jorhat) to Kamalabari, about 1 to 1.5 hours.
- Time it for February or March to catch the Mishing community's Ali Ai Ligang rice-sowing festival.

How booking works
- Enquire: pick a package or describe your trip and send the enquiry form, or WhatsApp us.
- Get your itinerary: our team calls you, then shares a complete day-by-day itinerary with the exact price. Swap ranges, hotels or days freely.
- Confirm: pay an advance to lock hotels, cabs and safaris. The balance is due before departure or on arrival, ahead of the services starting. We accept wire transfer (NEFT/RTGS).
- Travel: our representative meets you on arrival, with 24/7 support through the trip.
Cancellation policy
- 30 days or more before arrival: 10% of the tour cost
- 15 to 29 days before arrival: 30% of the tour cost
- 07 days before arrival: 50% of the tour cost
- Within 48 hours or no-show: no refund
- Kaziranga and all wildlife safaris are non-refundable. A date-change request counts as a cancellation, with no refund or adjustment.
- 20 December to 05 January is a non-refundable period.
Written cancellations are processed on working days only; a notice sent on Sunday is treated as received on Monday. Approved refunds are returned through the same mode within 10 to 15 working days.
Carry a valid government photo ID (voter ID, driving licence or passport) for hotel check-in.

How much does an Assam tour package cost?
Assam tour packages cost ₹19,999 to ₹39,999 per person (as of September 2026), depending on duration and hotel category, with short trips from ₹12,999. Flights and Kaziranga safari fees are not included. Peak-season rates (November to February) run higher.
What is included in your Assam tour packages?
Every package includes hotels with breakfast, a private AC cab for all transfers and sightseeing, airport or railway pick-up and drop, and all taxes. Not included: flights and train fares, Kaziranga safari charges, monument entry fees and personal expenses.
Can I customize an Assam package?
Yes. You can change the Kaziranga range, hotel category, number of nights, and add Majuli, a tea-estate stay or a Meghalaya extension. Share your dates in the enquiry form or on WhatsApp and our team sends a revised itinerary and price.
Which duration is best for a first Assam trip?
For a first trip, 5N/6D to 6N/7D is enough to cover Guwahati, Kaziranga and either Majuli or Meghalaya without rushed driving days. A 4N/5D works for Guwahati plus one anchor destination.
Do I need a permit to visit Assam?
No. Assam does not require an Inner Line Permit, and Indian nationals need no special permit for Kaziranga beyond the standard park entry ticket. Foreign nationals do not need an ILP for Assam either, but must register with the FRRO or local police as required and enter on a valid Indian visa.
When is Kaziranga open and what is the best time to visit?
Kaziranga is open roughly mid-October to April and closed May to September for monsoon flooding. November to February is the best time to visit Assam: clear skies, pleasant weather and the highest chance of sighting one-horned rhinos on a morning safari.
Are Kaziranga safaris included in the package?
Kaziranga jeep and elephant safaris are arranged for you but charged separately from the package price, as park fees and jeep rates are set by the forest department and booked per range. Safari bookings are non-refundable once confirmed.
How does booking and payment work?
Pay an advance to confirm the booking once your Assam itinerary is finalised; the balance is due before departure or on arrival, before the services begin. The full itinerary is shared before any payment. We accept wire transfer (NEFT/RTGS).
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation charges are 10% at 30+ days before arrival, 30% at 15 to 29 days, 50% at 07 days, and no refund within 48 hours or for a no-show. Wildlife safaris are non-refundable. 20 December to 05 January is non-refundable. Refunds are processed in 10 to 15 working days.
How do I reach Assam and Kaziranga?
Fly into Guwahati (GAU), the region's main gateway, which is around 193 km and 4 to 5 hours by road from Kaziranga along NH27 via Nagaon. Jorhat airport (JRH) is closer to the eastern ranges and to Majuli, reached by ferry from Nimati Ghat.
