Begin your 3 nights 4 days Meghalaya tour package with an arrival in Guwahati’s railway station or airport. Our representative will meet you at your arrival point and assist you in transferring from Guwahati to Shillong.
On the way, you will stop at Borapani Lake (also known as Umiam Lake). It is a beautiful and picturesque lake which is sure to leave you spellbound. Soak in the the natural beauty of Sylvan Hills encircling the lake.
Before you check-in at the hotel, explore the famous attractions of Shillong. Enjoy panoramic views of the city from the Shillong Peak. Get amazed by the charm of Elephant Falls, a beautiful waterfall that drops over multiple levels in a pool below. As you reach Cherrapunjee, you will be visiting some of the major attractions here. First you will be visiting, Nohkalikai Falls. It is the tallest plunge waterfall in India set 340 metres (1115 feet) high and the 4th highest in the world. After witnessing the beauty of Nohkalikai Falls, head to The Seven Sister Falls (also known as the Nohsngithiang Falls). It is a picturesque waterfall falling in seven different streams down the limestone cliff, which lends it a sight to behold. It is one of the most beautiful and scenic places to visit in Cherrapunjee. Next, head to explore the Mawsmai Cave. To get to the cave, you will have to do a short trek through a dense forest. The cave is also famous for its fossils, which you can spot at the cave walls and various formations inside.
