Fantastic and Memorable Trip to Sikkim!!!

I would like to share my Sikkim travel experience with Esikkim tourism. We are a family of 6 people including 2 kids and elderly parents. My kids during their summer vacation wanted to see snow and hence we planned our vacation to Sikkim in the 1st week of April. We choose Esikkim tourism’s 7 nights 8 days luxury package trip to Sikkim. The package included exclusive destinations like Darjeeling, Gangtok, Lachen and Lachung.

In our busy lives, we all need a break to rejuvenate and relax ourselves and this trip just did that for us. It offered us the perfect calm we were looking for. Since we had engaged Esikkim tourism for our tour planning, everything from flights to hotel bookings to arranging for vehicle and transport was taken care of by them leaving us stress-free. They arranged for the best accommodation keeping our preferences in mind and well-experienced drivers making our trip hassle-free. The drivers were very punctual and patient during the entire trip.

The hotels which were chosen for us offered the most amazing views in Gangtok, Lachen and Lachung. The vegetarian food was simple yet delicious. Although, I was not very pleased with the Darjeeling hotel but for the same we got compensated in Gangtok with sumptuous breakfast buffet and spacious rooms.

The sightseeing places covered in the itinerary were very carefully clubbed and selected hence we did not have to waste any time as they were well-connected. At the last minute, my kids wished to take a toy train ride at Darjeeling, which we had not booked earlier but our driver was kind enough to quickly arrange for the tickets while co-ordinating through the travel agency even at a short notice.

I would like to thank Mr. Pradeep and the team who very well coordinated our tour and took care of our every requirement. The tour package covered every aspect of Sikkim and was well within our budget. Thanks to them that we really enjoyed our tour.

Sikkim and Darjeeling are excelling holiday destinations for all nature lovers. The lush green valleys, snow-capped mountains, breath-taking river views, mesmerising waterfalls cast a magic on you when you experience these heavenly places. These are definitely must-visit places.

This review is about eSikkim Tourism (http://https://www.esikkimtourism.in/bhutan/bhutan//) – a travel agency which I would like to personally recommend to everyone. Although is not considered among big or established Travel companies, it is one of the best travel companies I have ever hired.

I came across eSikkim Tourism’s name while searing on the Google search engine. I was not much aware of the company but their good reviews and feedback compelled me to consider them as my tour planners. Although I was much scared to try somebody new, I chose to stick to my decision and thankfully it turned out to be the correct one.

I wanted to gift a honeymoon tour to my brother in India who recently got married. Since I stay overseas, I was a bit nervous about trusting a travel agency which I have never associated with before. However, a few positive factors which assured me to go with them were their very balanced and efficiently designed Sikkim travel packages, reasonable quotes and trustful assurance from their team and Mr. Pradip specifically. In fact, I paid much lesser for my Sikkim – Darjeeling – Lachung – Pelling tour to them as compared to other tour operators for the same duration and places.

My brother had an amazing time on their honeymoon and I am glad that eSikkim tourism and Mr. Pradip lived up to our expectations. They did not deviate from their words even for a moment. I will not go into too many details of the itinerary as everyone has their own preferences like I had mine. eSikkim tourism customised the entire itinerary as per my requirements and needs.

24 x 7 Availability – When I say 24 x 7 availability, I literally mean it. Mr. Pradeep very well demonstrated his dedication towards his customers. His assurance to take travel related queries even at midnight was truly commendable.

Safe and Comfortable Accommodation – The hotels that I had chosen were offered to me in various category of Standard / Deluxe / Super Deluxe, etc. Whatever was promised at the time of booking tour package was offered. The hotels were clean and the staff was hospitable. The food was very good, the amenities were great and the views from the hotels were mesmerising. In short, there were no last minute surprises.

Trusted Drivers and Good Vehicles – The transport was completely organised by them. The private SUV vehicle which was hired for the entire tour was of a very good condition and the driver was extremely punctual and polite. He was well-mannered and helpful throughout the tour.

No Hidden Charges – The entire package cost was communicated right at the initial stage. There were no extra or hidden charges at a later stage.

Affordable Package – The entire tour was well-organised within the budget. In fact, it was much reasonable as compared to other tour operators. In short, it did not burn a hole in my pocket.

Attention to Special Needs – All my special requirements were well catered. I had asked for a room in Darjeeling offering views of the Tea Garden, special arrangement in the room for honeymoon couple and many such requests, all of which were taken care of by the company.

Prompt Communication – All communications happened well in advance which is very important for a successful tour.

Payment System – The payment system is very safe and hassle-free. There is no rush in asking for payments.

Excellent First Visit to Sikkim – Hope more to go

Thanks to Esikkim tourism who helped us in meticulously organizing our tour to Sikkim covering most part of the state including North Sikkim high altitude locations like Lachen, Lachung, Nathula Pass, Gangtok, Namchi, Pelling and more.Our tour also covered a few destinations in the east part of West Bengal like Darjeeling and Jaldapara.

The company had early birds discount for the season going on, which we opted for. We booked the tour in advance and paid for it to avail the best boarding and transportation facilities. Our travel co-ordinator Mr. Pradip very well planned and organised our tour. He not only provided us confidence and guidance but also provided us a sense of being “Well Looked After”. In fact, their team extended full support at the time of booking and touring.

Mr. Pradip had a great understanding and knowledge of the local area which helped us a lot in planning our tour. He suggested us to cover Sikkim first and it proved to be very beneficial for us. Everything that was promised to us was offered at the hotels, transport and sightseeing places. The team efficiently coordinated our transport and permits on a daily basis. We had nothing to worry about!

The hotels suggested by them were clean and well located for travel convenience. I would like to make a special mention of Hotel Shri Krishna, Darjeeling which we loved the most. Because of the great hospitality of the hotel manager, we could cover Rabindra Bhawan at Mongpooon on our way to Jaldapara.

In all, it was a great tour, just the way we wanted it to be. Key remembrances for us are our visits to the Nathula Pass located at an altitude of 18, 000+ feet and almost touching Peaks of Himalayas, seeing the tough life our army soldiers who live in camps at such a height gave us strengthening sense of patriotism, Char Dham and Buddha Statue at Namchi, live football and stadium experience at Gangtok, Kanchangjanga Darshan and Japanese Buddha Temple at Darjeeling, delicious food at the hotel in Mall Road, excellent experience of staying at hotel WildHut at Jaldapara, Steam Engine and Trains in action, watching live Elephant Family migrating and much more.

Well Organized Trip

I am an avid traveller and have taken the services of numerous well-known tour operators in the past. I have had mixed travel experiences with them. This time when I was thinking of engaging a tour operator for my Sikkim tour, I wanted to engage somebody who knows the local area very well and hence tried esikkim tourism. They have a vast understanding of the local area and that helped me explore Sikkim much better. I got to experience the local culture, food, offbeat sightseeing places and much more.

Beauty and Serenity at its best – Sikkim

I along with my family went to Sikkim and Darjeeling in the month of April 2019. For travel convenience, we booked our tour through eSikkimTourism. I must mention that the travel arrangements, transportation and the way the trip was organized were all very satisfying. ESikkimTourism provided us with the expert drivers and we did not face any issue during the entire trip. Moreover, the drivers were extremely punctual and polite. Our accommodation was also very well arranged and was just as promised to us.

Now talking about Sikkim and Darjeeling, both of them are amazingly beautiful places. You can witness the nature at its best over here making it a must visit place for every nature lover. The snow-capped mountains are a real treat to eyes and add to the already existing charm of this place.

We had a great time in Gangtok, Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir, MG road, Namchi, Pelling and Darjeeling. We also enjoyed a thrilling Yak ride in Tsomgo Lake. Apart from the great sightseeing places, the food here is also amazing. We tried some local dishes and were worth a try.

I would say, this is the best place we have ever visited and I would like to come back to this lovely place over and over again.

Sikkim and Gangtok

Last to last year when I visited Sikkim and Gangtok, I engaged E Sikkim Tourism to plan my tour itinerary and arrange for accommodation and transport. It was a pleasure to book with them.
