Arrive in Phuentsholing by flight/train. The international airport Paro is 3 hours 27 minutes (139.5 km) drive to Phuentsholing . Phuentsholing is the gateway of Bhutan by road from India. It is located at the border of India and Bhutan. From India you can easily reach here by road. Upon arrival, you will be received by our representative who will escort you to the hotel. Check in at the hotel. Freshen up and relax. Depending on the amount of time you have we will take you to Zangtho Pelri Lhakhang, the Bhutan Gate, Karbandi Gompa and Torsa Tea Gardens.
Post breakfast, drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. Upon arrival, you will be received by our representative who will escort you to the hotel. Freshen up, relax and then get ready to explore the marvels of Thimphu. Our representative will take you to Buddha Dordenma Statue (it is the largest Buddha statue in the world), Tashichho Dzong (the fortified and the largest religious structure in Thimphu) and the Memorial Chorten, a beautiful Buddhist shrine with a gold spire built in the memory of Bhutan’s third king, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. Also visit Changangkha Lhakhang monastery, known to be the spiritual home of the children born in Chang valley.

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel in Thimphu and our representative will drive you to Paro. It is a charming valley town in Bhutan popular for several pious sites. Paro is the only place in Bhutan which has an international airport. It is one of the most challenging airports in the world and beautiful as well. After arriving in Paro, check in at the hotel. Relax and freshen up.
Later explore this picturesque valley and its famous attractions such as Ta Dzong, the National Museum of Paro with around 3000 artefacts dating back to 1500 years ago, and Paro Dzong. Remaining day at leisure. Also visit Paro Dzong, a famous Buddhist monastery and fortress. It is one of the best examples of Bhutanese architecture. Return to the hotel.
Enjoy a delicious breakfast and then get ready for Paro sightseeing. We will take you to some of the best Paro attractions such as Kyichu Lhakhang, an ancient temple in Bhutan where devotees come from far and wide. Visit a local farmhouse, where you can interact with local people and see their lifestyle. And maybe taste some homemade wine. Also, visit the iconic Taktsang Lhakhang or the Tiger’s Nest, the must-see attraction of Paro. Located in a remote location, this monastery has distinctive architecture.
