Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Bagdogra our representative will receive you with a warm welcome. Drive to Gangtok and check in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. You can go for a stroll on the MG Marg, which is a famous street in Gangtok. Stay overnight at the hotel.

After enjoying your breakfast drive to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft/3750 m/3 hrs drive) to get soaked in an atmosphere of sheer natural beauty and tranquility. This lake is a perfect place for a blissful experience in the hills. The locals consider this lake sacred and come here from far and wide. With every season, this lake looks different.

n winter it gets frozen covered with snow and with the onset of spring it brims with life with a variety of flowers blooming in its surrounding. Now head to Baba Harbhajan Mandir or the shrine which is dedicated to a brave Indian soldier who sacrificed his life while performing his duty.

Post-excursion our representative will drive you back to Gangtok. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Nathula Pass is visited by mountain lovers from across the world as it is one of the highest motorable passes in the world. It is also an old trading border post connecting Tibet and India.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and then head for exploring the attractions of Gangtok. Visit Ganesh Tok which is a charming Hindu temple offering stunning views of the hills. There is a café near the temple where you can have light bites. Next, visit the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology to acquaint yourself with the history of Buddhist culture and Tibetan architecture.

The Ropeway is a 1 km long cable ride that offers a great experience to view mountains from the top. Other attractions you will visit are Bakthang Waterfalls, Do Drul Chorten Stupa, Tashi view point, Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom, Enchey Monastery and Flower Show. In the evening drive back to the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, head for Lachung (8800 ft) to get soaked in sheer natural beauty. Lachung is a mystical village that beckons you to experience the charm of snow-covered mountains, greenery, and orchards of apple, apricot, and peace. The Lachung Chu river passing through the village adds more beauty to it. On the way visit Singhik View Point to treat your eyes with mesmerizing views of mount Silnoulchu and the Seven Sisters Waterfall. Ask the driver to stop for lunch at Namok. Post lunch, continue with your journey and reach Lachung. Check in at the hotel. Take some rest and freshen up. Rest of the day is at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel in Lachung.

Post breakfast, our representative will take you to the enchanting Gurudongmar Lake which is one of the highest lakes in India. It is located at an elevation of 17,800 ft and is revered by Hindus, Sikhs, and Buddhists. The lake got its name from Guru Padmasambhava, the founder of Tibetan Buddhism. Then drive through Chopta Valley (13200 ft) & Thangu Valley (13000f) which are picturesque. Come back to the hotel for lunch. Post lunch, get transferred to Lachung. Stay overnight at the hotel in Lachung.

Leave for Yumthang Valley early morning to capture its beauty at its best. Located at an altitude of (11,800 ft) and it literally means ‘The Valley of Flowers. You are bound to get enchanted with the greenery, peace, apple and peach orchards and the river of this valley. Have lunch after exploring the valley and then drive to Gangtok. On the way to Gangtok stop at the Bheema and Twin Waterfalls to spend some quality time. Check in to the hotel at Gangtok. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Zero point is a great place to experience the mountain charm of north Sikkim.

After breakfast, our representative will take you to Pelling, a scenic hill town where you can experience the nature at its best. The drive from Gangtok to Pelling is lovely and takes you through tea gardens, greenery, and mountains. You will be driven to Pelling through Namchi which means ‘top of the sky’. It offers a bird’s eye view of the alluring surroundings. Also, visit Namchi Char Dham which is a sacred place with 108 feet tall statue of Lord Shiva and replicas of 12 Jyotirlingas. Then visit the Samdruptse Hill which is known for its 118 feet statue of the Buddhist Padmasambhava, the patron saint of Sikkim.

Next, drive to Ravangla to witness the beauty of the popular Buddha Park and Temi Tea Gardens. Reach Pelling by evening. Remaining day at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel in Pelling.

Post breakfast, get ready to explore Pelling attractions. Befitting fairytales, Pelling brims with amazing attractions. Start with Darap Valley is a quaint delight offering fresh air, scenic views, and greenery. Then proceed to Kanchenjunga waterfalls which offers a hearty treat to its visitors.

It is surrounded with greenery and offers serenity. Other attractions on the list are Pema Yangtse monastery, Helipad Ground, Rimbi waterfalls, Khecheopalri sacred Lake and Rabdentse Ruins.

In the evening come back to the hotel in Pelling. Stay overnight.

After breakfast, drive to Darjeeling, the Queen of Hills. The drive to Darjeeling is not very smooth at certain stretches but at some points, you will drive past green gardens, rivers, villages and old bridges. Rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel in Darjeeling.

Start your day early morning at around 4 am to reach the most famous attraction of Darjeeling, the Tiger Hill. Enjoy the breathtaking sunrise over the Mt. Kanchenjunga. This hill is the highest point in Darjeeling. Also visit Batasia Loop, a spiral railway track amidst beautiful surroundings and Ghoom Monastery. Take a break for breakfast and then proceed to Japanese Temple. You will be amazed to see its traditional Japanese architecture. It is a revered Buddhist pilgrimage. Later visit other Darjeeling attractions – Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park(closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Rock, Peace Pagoda and Chitrey Tea Garden(outer view). In the evening roam around at MG Road, the main street of Darjeeling.

Toy Train of Darjeeling offers a coveted experience to its riders. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Operating on narrow gauge tracks, the toy train takes you through the unparalleled beauty of the mountains.

Check out from the hotel and drive to Jaldapara National Park. After reaching there, check in at the hotel and enjoy an overnight stay.

Start your day early morning, head for Jeep Safari at the Jaldapara National Park. This Park is a wildlife sanctuary rich in flora and fauna. It boasts of the largest population of the Indian one-horned rhinoceros in West Bengal.
