Over the years, this small country in the borders of India and China has established itself as one of the most known tourist destination. Its pristine lakes, lush green forests, and beautiful valleys takes its visitors on a trance of peace and tranquillity. Our tour package not only offers you the chance to visit the kingdom of Bhutan but also gives you the chance to explore the beautiful hill stations of Darjeeling and Gangtok. This 10 nights, 11 days package is sure to give you memories umpteen. Read on our itinerary below to understand all the facilities that you get to avail with our package.

Itinerary

Once you arrive at Bagdodra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, our representatives will pick you up and drive you to Phuentsholing (165 km, 4hours drive). The tourist permit and other processes will be completed for you at Phuentsholing. Once that’s done, our representatives will drop you at a hotel in Jaigaon or Phuentsholing for an overnight stay.

    On your way to Thimpu, you will get the chance to tour popular destinations and witness beautiful waterfalls.

After a sumptuous breakfast in the hotel, our representatives will pick you up and drive you to Thimphu (approximately 6 hours). This drive to the capital city is one of the best journeys that you will experience. On your way, you will stop for sightseeing of the natural landscape, Chukha Dam and pristine waterfalls. After this, our representatives will drop you at the hotel in the evening. You are free to spend this evening as you wish. You can take a stroll around the local market or spend the night at the comfort of your hotel room.

    Thimphu with a population of 104200 is the largest city in Bhutan. On day 3, you will be touring across the entire city of Thimphu.

Get up in the morning, freshen up, indulge in some authentic delicacies for breakfast and then head out with our representatives for sightseeing. The tour will include visit to Tashicchhoe Dzong, BBS Tower, The Memorial Chorten, Buddha Point, School of Arts & Crafts, Motithang Takin Reserve, Handicraft Institute, Centenary Farmer Market, National Library, Zangthopelri Lhakhang, Institute of Traditional Medicine, Semtokha Dzong and Changlimithang Stadium. Inhale the beauty of Thimphu in all these sites and then head back to the hotel at night for a goodnight sleep.

You will spend day 4 travelling from Thimphu to Paro (65km, 1.5 hours). The journey gets better as you near Paro as this is a city rich in natural scenery with lakes, waterfalls and ravines.

    Paro in the west of Bhutan is valley town. It is home to sacred sites, beautiful monasteries, and rich ‘scenicity’.

On day 5, you will get the chance to tour around the beautiful town of Paro. Your sightseeing will include visit to historical buildings and sacred sites scattered through the area. You will also visit popular tourist spots such as Drukgyal Dzong, View of Taktsang Monastery, Ta Dzong, Dungtse Lhankhang, Kichulanka Monastery, Nya-meyZam, Paro Rinpung Dzong (Museum), and Druk Choeding. After a long tiring day, our representative will drive you back to the hotel. Spend the night relaxing.

After breakfast, checkout from your hotel and head back to Phuentsholing for an overnight stay. Your journey in Bhutan ends here, with a smile take back the beautiful memories as more adventure awaits in Gangtok and Darjeeling.

On day 7, you will travel to Gangtok (5500ft. /222 km. /6 hours), the capital city of Sikkim. Sikkim is the 23rd.state of India and is popularly as the most beautiful and peaceful state in India. On your arrival at Gangtok our representative will drop you at the hotel where you can rest for the night.

    Gangtok is home to some of the most beautiful lakes, monasteries and temples.

You will spend Day 8 travelling uphill 12400 feet above sea level for an excursion in Tsomgo Lake. This is the highest altitude Himalayan Lake. It is oval-shaped with an average depth of 50 feet, 1 km long in east Sikkim Himalaya. After Tsomgo Lake, you will visit the Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial (13,000 feet/15 km) Spend some beautiful time here unwinding and inhaling the fresh air. Then, a drive back to the shopping destination of Gangtok, M.G Marg. You can spend time here shopping for gifts, shawls, woollen items and more. Once shopping is over, head back to the hotel for some rest.

On Day 9, you will be journeying to Darjeeling, popularly known as the queen of hills. On your arrival at Darjeeling, our representative will drop you at the hotel. You can spend this evening in the mall or shopping for handicraft items.

Darjeeling is a small yet beautiful hill station in West Bengal, it has many sites for tourists to explore.

Early morning get ready for an exciting trip to Tiger Hill (8,500 feet). This is also known as the sunrise point in eastern Himalaya. From here, you enjoy the breathtaking view of the changing colour reflection over the Mt. Khanchenjunga peak. On your way you will stop at Batasia Loop, Ghoom Monastery, one of the oldest monastery. Head back to the hotel for breakfast and then spend time visiting the Himalayan Mountneening Institute, Tenzing rock, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), happy valley tea garden, Tibetan refugee self- help centre (closed on Sunday), Japanese temple and Peace pagoda. In the evening, you will spend time at Darjeeling Night angle Park for a delightful cultural evening. Here, the residents of the city will perform different traditional folk dance. You will then be dropped at your hotel for some snooze time.

Day 11 marks the end of your tour. Our representative will drive you back from your hotel in Darjeeling to Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. With countless memories journey back home.
