The road trip will take a couple of hours and its beauty cannot be expressed in words. Next, visit Har Ki Pauri. Finally, the day to get to Kedarnath is here. In the morning, have a filling breakfast and head out on a day’s excursion to Kedarnath. From Sonprayag, a local jeep will take you to Gaurikund, which is the commencement point of the trek to Kedarnath. After an eventful day, trek back to Sonprayag or take the helicopter ride back to the helipad in Guptkashi. Make your way to the hotel and call it a day.

On your way, make a quick stop at Joshimath. The idol from Badrinath is brought down to Joshimath during winters when the access is shut. Hence, this place holds equal religious importance. Visit the Narsingh temple here. People from all over come to see the shirking arm of the idol. It is said that when the arm completely withers, the Badrinath valley will cease to exist.
