After sightseeing in Mussoorie, continue travelling to Barkot. After reaching, check in to your hotel room the rest of the night is at leisure.

These are the starting point of the trekking route that goes up to Yamunotri. If you are not comfortable travelling on foot, you can choose to opt for horse-ride or You may also choose to ride on horseback or Palanquin.

Built in the 19th century, the temple is perched at a height of 3,293 metres above the sea level. Before finally reaching the Yamunotri temple, you first will take a holy dip in the Jamunabai Kund. There are a number of other thermal spring that flows into numerous pools as well near the temple.

Follow the route of the river and you will reach the ancient town of Guptkashi. The first place you will head to is the Ardh Narishwar Temple.
