Your next station is Baba Harbhajan Mandir where you’ll be overwhelmed with the patriotism in your heart after discovering the unusual history behind the establishment of this temple. Constructed in the remembrance of honourable Captain Harbhajan Singh, this shrine is a salute to all the diligent soldiers who stand for us in every difficult situation to protect our country.

Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary
Spread in the area of 31 sq. Km, Kyongnosla Alpine Wildlife Sanctuary will turn you into a nature admirer with the diversity of flora and fauna it has. To experience the same, you have to get up early in the morning for 6 hours long drive to reach the town. Have your lunch in Chungthang and be ready to vision more roadways magnificence of the place as you depart for Lachen, another famous tourist attraction wrapped in the snow-capped peaks. It’s a small town situated in the northern district of Sikkim and known for its diverse vegetation and natural charm. The best part is, you will encounter just a bunch of people because it is one of the less populated towns in India with not much houses. Moreover, you will know more about the native lifestyle when you will confront people from Tibet and Bhutia tribe. Yumthang

Lachung Monastery
An ancient sacred place, Lachung Monastery is that colourful Nyingma Buddhist Gompa which was constructed in the 19th century and still holds a prominent position among religious sites. It is situated at 9600 ft above sea level on the confluence of Lachen and Lachung River. Also, you can see beautiful apples hanging in the orchards of enchanting gardens of the monastery. It is a must-visit place for all the tourists.

Mangan is a small town close to Gangtok which is also a superb standpoint. Countless tourists come to this point mainly to absorb this magical view. You can also witness Mt Pandim, Mt Kabru, Mt Simvo, Mt Jopuno and Mt Khangchendzonga adorably.
